The Permission Portal — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to your participation in The Permission Portal, a six-month group coaching experience offered by Transform Your Life Academy (“I,” “me,” or “my”).

By purchasing The Permission Portal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

The Permission Portal

The Permission Portal is a six-month small-group coaching experience designed to create space for reflection, self-exploration, self-trust and personal growth.

The experience includes 12 live group Zoom gatherings over approximately six months, guided journaling and reflection, group discussion, intuitive coaching and guidance, guided meditation and group energy/Reiki experiences where appropriate, and an intimate in-person weekend retreat.

The group will consist of approximately 5–8 participants.

The program is expected to begin during the first week of November 2026. Retreat dates, location and logistical details will be communicated to participants as they are finalized.

Investment & Payment

The total investment for The Permission Portal is $1,800 CAD.

You may choose to pay $1,800 CAD in full at enrollment or choose a payment plan consisting of six payments of $300 CAD.

If you choose the payment plan, your first $300 payment is made at enrollment, followed by five monthly installments of $300 according to the payment schedule presented at checkout.

Cancellation, Withdrawal & Refunds

I want everyone inside The Permission Portal to be here because they genuinely want to participate.

If you decide that The Permission Portal is no longer right for you, you may withdraw by contacting me in writing at info@transformyourlifeacademy.com.

If you are paying monthly, payments already made are non-refundable. Once your withdrawal has been confirmed, your remaining scheduled payments will be cancelled.

If you paid in full, your refund will be calculated as though you had chosen the monthly payment plan. $300 will be retained for each monthly program period that has begun, and the remaining balance will be refunded.

For example, if three monthly program periods have begun when your withdrawal is confirmed, $900 will be retained and the remaining $900 will be refunded.

Simply missing a group call, retreat activity or choosing not to participate does not constitute withdrawal. You must contact me directly in writing if you wish to leave the program.

Nothing in this policy limits any cancellation, refund or other rights you may have under applicable law.

The Retreat

An intimate in-person weekend retreat is included as part of The Permission Portal experience and is planned for the Burlington/Niagara region toward the end of the six-month program.

Your participation in the facilitated retreat experience is included in your $1,800 program investment.

Accommodation, meals, transportation and other personal travel expenses are not included and are your responsibility.

Specific dates, location, schedule and other retreat details will be communicated to participants as they are finalized.

If you choose not to attend the retreat but remain enrolled in The Permission Portal, no separate retreat credit or refund will be provided.

Live Group Calls

The group Zoom calls are live and will not be recorded.

If you are unable to attend a call, I will provide a written summary of key themes, reflections and discussion points from the session.

To protect the privacy of everyone in the group, these summaries will not include names, identifying information or personal details shared by other participants.

Missing a live call does not entitle you to a refund or credit.

If I Need to Cancel or Make Changes

Occasionally, circumstances outside my reasonable control may require a group call, retreat date, location or other element of the program to be rescheduled or modified.

If this happens, I will make reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate alternative.

If I cancel The Permission Portal entirely and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, participants will receive an appropriate refund for portions of the program that have not been delivered.

If I cancel the retreat and cannot reasonably reschedule it or provide an appropriate alternative, I will provide an appropriate remedy for the cancelled portion of the experience.

Participation & Personal Responsibility

The Permission Portal is a collaborative coaching and personal-growth experience.

Your experience and results will depend on many factors, including your circumstances, participation, choices and actions. I cannot guarantee any particular personal, emotional, business, financial or other outcome from participating.

You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions, wellbeing and results throughout the experience.

Coaching, Reiki & Wellness Disclaimer

The Permission Portal may include coaching, meditation, intuitive reflection, Reiki and other energy-based practices.

These practices are offered as supportive personal-growth and wellness experiences. They are not medical treatment, psychotherapy, mental-health treatment or diagnosis, and they are not a substitute for care from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Participation in Reiki, meditation and other experiential practices is voluntary. You are encouraged to honour your own comfort level and personal boundaries.

If you require medical, psychological or other professional support, please seek assistance from an appropriately qualified professional.

Group Confidentiality

Personal and vulnerable conversations may occur during The Permission Portal.

Participants agree to respect one another's privacy and not intentionally share another participant's personal stories, private information, screenshots or identifying information outside the group without that person's permission.

While I will establish and encourage this expectation, I cannot guarantee the actions or confidentiality of every participant.

Respectful Participation

The Permission Portal is intended to be a respectful and supportive environment.

Behaviour that seriously disrupts the group, violates another participant's privacy, involves harassment or creates an unsafe environment for other participants may result in removal from the program.

Any refund in those circumstances will be determined in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and any rights that apply under law.

Intellectual Property

Any original worksheets, prompts, meditations, exercises, written summaries or other program materials I provide are for your personal use.

They may not be reproduced, sold, distributed, published or used to create another commercial program without my written permission.

Participants retain ownership of their own stories, ideas, content and intellectual property shared during the experience.

Technology

Online portions of The Permission Portal rely on third-party technology such as Zoom and other online services.

While reasonable efforts will be made to provide reliable access, occasional technical interruptions may occur.

Acceptance of These Terms

By purchasing The Permission Portal, you confirm that you have had the opportunity to review these Terms & Conditions before purchasing and agree to them.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
